Removing front signals for powdercoat

Removing front signals for powdercoat
So I'm wondering if anyone here has done this. I already pulled my rears, but am reluctant to do the fronts.
I know inside the switch housing, the wires are zip tied to the switch wiring, and I know how to remove the pins from the connectors under the tank.
However my two concerns are feeding the wires back through the black wrap that hold all the wires inside the handlebars, and I'm still not sure about the "flat" wire casing that goes from the switch, to the signal housing itself.
Can anyone chime in on this??
Regards

I did mine when I installed my apes.Wasn't too hard to do,but I also moved them off the bars at the same time. Not sure if you want them there, but may be a good time to think about a relo.
As far as running them through the wire wrap, you could probably just make a separate harness for just the sigs, and run them alone instead of running them back through the stock harness.

Running the wires up through the bars isn't my primary concern, I figured I could do it with fishing line. But the wires for the switches, and the signals are all contained within on casing.
I'm sure it's just to protect them more than insulate them, but I don't really see getting the signal wires out, or more specifically back in, without cutting the casing open.
Also, as stated, the wire casing from the signal to the switch housing is a "flat" casing, I don't understand how the wire and pins would go through them without being cut.
