Default yeah me

Okay. Don't worry. I'm not going to post every time I go for a ride, but this time I can't help myself. This was the first weekendI've had off since April 1st. This is due to a longer than expected refueling at the power plant I work at.I've been on twelve hour days, six daysper week. Thentrying to keep up with family and housework on the 7th day. Finally, two days off and the weekend to boot!
Yesterday rained all day, so I moped around. Today started out as rain. Got a few errands done, and then the sun popped out. The misses and I were on the newscoot in the blink of an eye. We had four hours until our son came home from the Grandparents, and we spent every second of that time riding.
What a great ride. No one seemed to be out. We had the roads to ourselves for the most part. The new scoot rides great. Very comfortable. Handels well. Love it. Four hours of mind clearing, quality time. We've been home for a couple of hours now, and I'm still relaxed and smiling.
Okay. This is starting to look like a freakin diary. Basically all I wanted to do is say YEAH ME!

It was overcast for me here in PA, and did a little ride this morning myself and like you, it seemed like I had the roads to myself.

Nice that you and the misses were able to spend a few hours riding..

If I am not being too noisy. What nuke plant you working? I used to work near Benton Harbor but left in '99 to return to the fossil side. RF outages can get long and take a lot out of you. Glad to see you got a break and had a chance to get out for a ride.

Raindropfx,
I was up your way in the mid 90's on a peer visit. I worked in Maintenance back then. Ya'll have an nice plant and we got a lot of good help for our program when we were hurting. I worked at Cook in Michiganfor 9 yearsbefore moving to warmer weather in Alabama. Anyway, glad to hear you are getting out and blowing some of the cobwebs off the bike. Maybe now with the plant ready for the long summer run you can get out and put plenty of time on the bike.
