Ok. What is it with all these old people and their grey/white beards? It seems to be almost a requirement from the looks of the posted photos. (Full disclosure - I'm 62 and have a white beard.)
After leaving the service I grew some facial hair- then went back into the civilian workforce.
I've always been in jobs that more or less required a clean shaven face for respirators or public image.
Now that is no longer a rule, my face can be a free range!

Us oldies can't do much to compete with the young'n's but white whiskers is one department in which we excel - if you've got it, flaunt it!
