Riding Etiquette

X2 what LunchBoxx said - it's about respect. Give it, you'll get it back. Just because we love Harley's doesn't mean everyone should, riding is riding. Enjoy!!

Ride your own ride. Don't criticize other's rides. Wave if you want, but don't wave at the expense of your situational awareness.
My son just started riding. Bought a Suzuki C50. I like my Harley Bar and Shield Mesh jacket, with Armor. So I bought one for him. I'm sure some people will call him a poser now. But it is one of the few Harley Jackets that works better than other brands available. So I am going to warn him some ******** may give him crap. Don't be one of them.
Ride safe.

I don't know what's more weird.....someone asking about what to wear or 40+ replies to the question. I can't believe anyone gives a rat's azz. And if they do, well it shows you where the so called biker culture is today. What someone wears, Harley gear, patches.....you have to be kidding me.

I missed that "Suzuki". Also new to forum and hadn't read that thread. No point other than I wear one due to heat.

Ride what you want
Wear what you want
Wave if you want or don't
Use common sense
Just because you purchased a motorcycle to ride does not mean you are now part of a secret society or large fraternity where everyone must live/ride by the same guidelines.
A motorcycle gives me a sense of freedom. Freedom to me means doing what I want to do, wearing what I want to wear and saying to hell with confirming to what others think a motorcycle owner should ride, wear or do when riding.
Too many folks now days worry to much about what others folks do
Wear what you want
Wave if you want or don't
Use common sense
