Wear what you want! Its about respect, if you give respect you will get respect.
When I am riding, a couple things I do
1) Wave at all riders, regardless of brand or style of bike.
2) Stop for ALL stranded bikes, regardless of brand or style of bike.

Wear whatever the hell you want, except a 3 patch vest.

* Ride stagger in a group
* Don't tailgate
* Don't pull up next to strangers at a stop light unless you're invited
* Don't rev your motor at stop lights, or anywhere else for that matter
* If you own a bagger with a radio, don't play it so loud as to **** those of us off, who don't care about your musical taste.
* Don't be upset if the oncoming rider doesn't wave back
* Don't be afraid to get lost.

Awesome. Don't forget as many pins as possible, a useless skull cap helmet, makes sure the chaps are poorly fitted. Wear Harley shirts EVERY DAY, riding or not. Same with your vest and boots.

Best post yet. Although I have pulled up next to strangers at a stop light, given them a nod, and let them go first.

If you wear a vest remember the 2 banner/patch rule. As an example a HOG or club patch with a rocker giving the club/chapter name is ok. The same with a bottom rocker showing state/city or area can get you unwanted attention from a 1%. The third rocker shows territory ownership.

You bought a motorcycle. It happens to be a Harley. You don't need to act like a 13 year old little girl worrying about what to do or say.

Be yourself and treat others as you would want to be treated. A Harley is just another motorcycle. It doesn't entitle you to anything more or less than other motorcycles on the road.

Have fun.

Don't:
- pick your nose and flick the boogers in the air if someone is riding behind you.
- same as above for hocking out a giant luggie
- same as above with an after bean burrito and beer fart

Don't wear a pink helmet.
