Attending the Miracle Ride (Indianapolis)?

RE: Attending the Miracle Ride (Indianapolis)?
Wow Nick, can't even express how much I appreciate that offer. Justin (my son) really has an aversion to any loud noises so most things likes bikes, race tracks, etc. are pretty much out of the question (but he LOVES bowling, go figure). This event is truly special and those participating provide joy to kids that are, all too often, stuck staring at the sanitary walls of hospital rooms. Justin hasn't been to Riley Hospital but visits St. Vincents Hospital regularly for OT and PT. He has RTS (Rubenstein Taybi Syndrome) and is now 15 years old (and the light of my life). Although this syndrome can be (and is, in Justin's case) extremely debilitating, the kids at Riley (as well as their parents) are going through a truly traumatic experience. You can bet that even though I won't get to ride....I'll be making a contribution to Riley Hospital.

This is going to be my first Miracle ride. Three of us from Columbus IN. and wives. I have been told that when you pass Riley Hosp. and see all the kids in the yard it will rip your heart out.
I guess I don't appreciate enough how lucky I am. Wife, three kids and 4 grandkids all healthy. Raising a little money and donating myself is the least I can do. Good luck to everyone.
I am a newer rider and a little apprehensive about that many bikes and the traffic. Anybody got any advise?

Break out the rain gear........
We might get a little wet.......
For anybody going - I'll be the fat ugly guy wearing tan Frog Toggs and a "Here's your sign" Bill Engvall Hat. (Black and Yellow)
Look for this bike withmy Patriot Guard Flag on the back......(same size as the American Flag in the picture below.)
Here's a picture of the hat material (my hat is black denim...) and the sign.
