have you seen this? on a Harley, I mean. It seems to me that if the gasket were to blow out that badly, the pipe would have been leaking a very long time, and must have come loose from the head a long ways. We are talking at the flange, and if you were to keep your leg in the stream of leaking exhaust, for any longer than a second, maybe a burn, I agree. But who would keep their leg there?

The pipes you installed are for noise & looks, not for power. I seriously doubt you are having an issue with the gaskets. I use the SE gaskets & never have them leak.

I lost some low end with those pipes. I used the stock gaskets but that's not why. The stock ones are just fine.

Friend, it's a 1689cc engine. The only way your going to notice the change made with the stage 1 upgrade is to saddle up, relax,,
And Twist the Throttle. Twist it, clockwise, hard,,
Get it cruising to 30mph in 3rd gear, then open it up,, it's fun.

So I had my bike at the dealer for a turn signal warranty. While it was in I had them look over the exhaust and check for leaks. No leaks found. I do get some decel pop sometimes but from what I hear that's mostly from tuning and not necessarily a leak.
