Default J&P Cycles shipping Issues.

Has anyone else experienced long shipping times with J&P Cycles this year? They have had shipping issues for the whole year. One would think that they would right the ship and fix the shipping times. One order this year took almost 2 weeks to ship. And now another order is almost at a week since order and still hasn't shipped.

I'm thinking about switching all my Business to Dennis Kirk. Have had great customer service from this site. J&P customer service has been horrible all year.

Yep, lots of threads on this. I don't do business with them anymore. Even had to file a PayPal dispute to get my last order refunded. Dennis Kirk is a good vendor. They follow through on shipping.

I enrolled in the gold club at J&P which offers discounts and shipping deals. By the time I got the 15% off coupon in the mail it had expired. I was ordering a handle bar and an extended cable set this week when I found out so I ordered it on ebay. J&P also lost my order of a rear tire. I wish they would get it together because Kirk has a lot but not as much as J&P.

J&P was recently bought out by a conglomerate and it has been all downhill from there. It is no longer a family owned business. There are lots of other companies out there who will give you much better service for the same price.

That sucks to hear, I`ve never had to wait longer than 3 days for my orders from them. Two plus weeks waiting on an order makes me think that they actually never had the parts in stock or there was some kind of backorder.

Kind of disheartening to read these threads. I've done a lot of business with both J&P and Dennis Kirk over the years, and have NEVER had an issue with either. J&P's store at Sturgis has great deals, and offered free shipping for any items purchased during the rallye. The RideOn I ordered at the last rallye got "home" before I did!

Dennis Kirk sponsors The Patriot Ride, and donates all the proceeds to the Military Appreciation Fund and the Mn Patriot Guard.

Sh*t happens. A couple of years ago a major windstorm wrecked major havoc at J&P.

Keep us posted.

That's news to me and others, and if true, is very relevant. Got a link?
