does it make good sense???
The better half and I are riding around today and we see riders riding around in full dress leathers, gloves, boots, jackets etc. and no helmets......come on people if you dress like that to protect yourselves from road rash why not put a helmet on to give your poor empty heads SOME kind of protection???? I mean come on its like using a condom with the end cut off it....

RE: does it make good sense???
I see a lot of accidents where the H-D or cruiser riders are brought in with not a mark on their body because they had on full leathers, but they are a veggie because no helmet, and then on the other hand I see a lot of those sport bike riders with no head injury becuase they were wearing their $400 helmet but they are covered in road rash and busted up because they were wearing shorts, tank top, and sandals.
Not trying to flame anyone, just stating the facts. I for one always wear my helmet.

LOL, I bet wearing that for a day in TX you end up with a great tan. That is the important thing anyway, looking good.
Tried a simialr set up here in MN last fall, frost bite doesn't look cool at all.

Most of my riding is done in S.E. Wisconsin - Your observations are correct, around here at least that's what people do.Seeing a Harley rider with a helmet on is a rarity.I wear an ACC Carbon FiberExtended Half Helmet, most of the places I frequent at stops will have many HD's parked outside, but it's extremely rare to see anyone with a helmet.....
That's the way it goes,I'm past the point of giving a #%*# about what other people do,guess we all have to do what we feel is right.
