i have no idea. maybe that was their idea of what looks cool or something. but i agree with ya, it really doesn't make sense to wear all that leather and not wear a helmet. should've followed them and asked them why they were doing it.

I don't bother with the leathers much anymore and probably, if not for the laws, not wear a helmet all the time either.
How-ever, after all these years,I kinda feel naked without my carbon fiber helmet and I really like the Cromwell spitfire , recently purchased. ,The Cromwell stops all wind in the ear noise and is surprisingly comfortable if ya have to wear a helmet.
More importantly I don't concern my self with what other riders do. The govt seems to do enough of that allready.[:@][:@]

Another helmet thread, great. Why do you care what other people do? When does it stop? One type of car is safer than the other, so we should all drive one? Cities are already banning transfats ... you want someone to tell you what to eat? Everybody isn't going to have an accident .. and everyone that does, doesn't get a head injury. You worry about you.
