Dreaming of a Harley
Awesome forum! I've been lurking for a couple days, wasn't going to register until I bought a Harley, but I figured what the hell! I've been wanting a Harley for several years now, and while I can't afford it immediately, it's in my fairly near future. I'm planning on taking the MSF early next spring, renting a few bikes, then making a few purchases. Looking at this forum every day keeps my hopes up, and makes me work harder for that down payment!

RE: Dreaming of a Harley
Welcome to the forum...I'm living proof that with some patience you will attain your dream.
I joined a few months back without a scooter and since then I managed to find the perfect bike for me and now own my first Harley Davidson...
It's worth the wait - TRUST ME.

RE: Dreaming of a Harley
I was in the same boat about 2 years ago. I would drive by the dealer and sigh when my wife was with me, or cough and point. Finally, Last November we walked in the dealer and brought home my new baby. I've only been part of this forum for a few months, there is alot of valuable info for you before you make the purchase, and it will get your creative side to take over.
This is by far THE best hobby I have. The best part about it is when you park your bike at a bar/restaurant and everybody studies your bike like a piece of art rather than a piece of transportation.
The hardest part I had to contend with was my wife who was terrified of motorcycles. Now I can't keep her off of it. Now she wants her own! Which is way cool because I can do things to her bike and if I like it I may integrate it into mine
Good luck in getting your ride
