Here’s a picture of us guys headed out for Sturgis in 1970. Interesting, no black shirts. 2 BSA’s and a Harley.

You'd have to knife fight my daughter over that one and she fights dirty . I taught her well.

Default 70"s & 80"s

Back then and before like the 60"s , Herms Leather togs, from Easton PA. Custom made leather, by Herm Liven who was an ex flat Tracker. He use to travel to the races with a white truck. Awesome quality leathers.

Some asked about Brooks Leather. They are still in business. I believe in Massachusetts or Rhode island.. Same great jackets.

Wasn't the 70's more about Qiana shirts and polyester leisure suits?

In the late 60's, I wore plaid and Paisley print clothes.
We were dapper back then.
In 1971 I was 16 yo. From then on it was Levi's, mostly.

Got my first job @16, it was in a factory.
My first payday I got $55.00 for 40 hr and I couldn't wait to get to
town to buy some clothes.
Always wanted a 'football jersey' so I found one and bought it.
Tuesday evening at work; in @ 3pm, by 4 pm I'm in the office.
Supervisor was all over me about my 'shirt'.
Tells me NOT to wear it again!! Didn't tell me why.
'Yessir' was my reply.

Years later my wife was wearing the shirt as she found it in a box of
clothes my mom gave me of my stuff.
There, on the shirt was the number "69" in all of its glory.
