I had a stand on my Shovel, that a bud welded a little piece of rod to... It was bent up and stuck out enough that it was easy to grab with my heel.

My '14 Softail, has one on it already... It's even got a nice ball on the end, easy to see, easy to reach.

My wife's 48's stand tucks up pretty tight. I'm gonna see if I can find something to add to it, or another stand with a similar setup to mine.

Wonder if anybody makes one? I can't imagine that's not something out there already.

** EDIT ** Well, shut my mouth and call me Shirley: Google is my friend

I think Harley sells an extension for your side stand but give it time you may find it comes easy as you use it , As far as your seat concerns I too have similar issues Le Para or Corbin sells great seats but like a nice pair of shoes proper fit is imperative . My 2008 Low Boy fitted with forward controls made the world of difference with the right seat it will be perfect . Pipes are even more of a dilemma , After many years of owning bikes choice is in the eye or ear of the beholder , In my humble opinion the 2n1 set up is a wise choice for our type of engines . 3rd day of your bike enjoy her ride it as much as poss before committing to changes but as I see your not a new rider Cheers .

Default Pipes

They are Cobra slip ons. They are loud when you open it up on the road but can be run quiet when leaving the neighborhood at a slow speed.

Default Kickstand extension

You can put a extention tip on your stand. Easy to find now for me.

About $35.

Great looking bike! Those shocks look about 2 inches shorter than stock. If you want, you can usually pick up some newish take-off stockers in the classifieds for $50-60. The extra travel should smooth out your ride and help with ground clearance.
And if you see that your baffles are missing, check out DK Customs Thunder Torque inserts for about $20. You can also get replacement baffles from the exhaust manufacturer for a bit more.
I also recommend C&C seats. Ask if they still offer a discount for forum members. And keep in mind that a seat that lowers you will not give more leg room. You may want to go back and slightly up to straighten your legs out.

I agree with Clammy. I've used earbuds and have a Sena Bluetooth set up on my 3/4 helmet to listen to music. I'm in my 13th or 14th season and have been commuting by bike for the past 7 years.

Default Shocks

Yes it could use new shocks. It is not a smooth ride on bumps. Also the seat is not that comfortable on my tailbone. Thanks,
