Just curious how many have used Harley financing? I saw a post somewhere that Harley will finance just about anyone, which makes me wonder, if that is the case, what kind of APR's are they offering?

 

Yeah, I financed mine thru H-D financing. I think my rate is 6.5% or something like that

 

I did...got the same rate that my bank offered. My credit score is "excellent" over 800 and the best my bank would do on an 02 1200 Sporty was 8.9%...same as Harley's lowest. Harley's range on the 02 was 8.9%-23%, depending on your credit. Went for longer than my bank also, I pay 3x the montly payment and most goes to principal, will be payed of in 15 mos with less interest as how I financed for 4 yrs...

 

I didnt have a great credit score at the time low 600's and I got a 12%

my friend on his 07 got a 9.9%

 

Good information to know. I could not upgrade though because I would not get close to what my bike is worth and refuse to go deep into debt just for a bigger bike.

 

I did and got 8.9% on my '07, better than the bank was offering.

 

I've got a pretty good credit score and got a 6.9% APR on my '06 Superglide. Harley does seem to be willing to finance almost anyone. Interest rates on bikes are well higher than on cars. For instance, my bank which gave me a GREAT financing deal on a car basically told me to go with Harley because the bankrate would be too high.

You should shop around. I've found Harley to be pretty good because they'll finance a lot of chrome and engine "upgrades" as well as leathers and helmets. Don't get greedy, though, remember the APR.

Dealing with their financing department is awesome. They've always answered my questions, the bill is easy to follow, and I have direct withdrawal from the bank.

 

Did mine last week thru Harley @ 7.9%, which was .5% lower than my bank.

 

My wife would hate you guys if she saw this LOL! I just cannot do it as much as I want to, because they will seriously lowball my trade, but this is great information to know.

 

If you go back to the dealer where you bought it. They seem to be more generous with trade in if you are a repeat customer with them.
