Default On the fence to upgrade FLHX to Special

So I got a 2015 FLHX and over the past year grew a bromance with the bike. Thinking of upgrading to the Special (mainly for the ABS and Shocks). Hear GPS is not great, anyone out there upgraded or considered??

I personally wouldn't. If you're not "needing" a new bike, just by the shocks (or many others that are better). and live without the ABS. Personally, I like ABS and could care less about the GPS. I think it sucks. And sucks bad.

I bought a 15 SGS mainly because of the smokin' deal I got on it in blue. I really wanted the regular in red, but dealer oddly wasn't budging much on that.

The Internet bragging rights are well worth the extra cost.

Not worth it ,you already have the Rushmore . The only extra thing worth it would be ABS (you are already use to non ABS) .The shocks and Radio are not . Moving up would cost you way to much. I would run that 15 for a few more years and wait for next big change and than upgrade .

A new bike with those options is your only viable option.

I'll try and make this short. Had a 2014 Ultra Limited that got totaled. Her insurance sent me a check so I went looking for a new bike. Found a leftover '15 Road Glide, (not the special), with ABS and security for a price I was very happy with. The ONLY thing I really miss is the painted inner fairing. YMMV

Thanks - good comments. I am leaning your way. I will research the shocks. I never had ABS on prior bikes and can live without longer I suppose.

Great comments thanks. I am already thinking to keep what I got and build on it. I like this forum and the feedback.
