My wife recently bought her first bike, buell blast 500, she been doing good on it, however we were leaving a gas station the other day and while pulling up to red light it fell over, I picked it up for her, but while trying to start it we hear this loud pop coming from what I thought was the air filter? Now it won't start. It doesn't click like its a bad starter. I can hear it turning just doesn't complete the cycle enough to start. Any ideas? U guys have helped me out a lot with my sportster lol
Check the obvious stuff first like the plug wire and Spark plug. As well look for any damage to the carburetor. It may be something that is easily detected. Eliminate fuel and fire from the equation first.
The Buell Blast was a really odd duck. It is a very troubled bike. My buddies bought them as starter bikes and had nothing but trouble... I know this doesn't help with your problem, but that's why there are a lot of "Buell Blast won't start" hits.
