It's all a personal choice or preference. My opinion....for what I paid for these bikes.....they will be clean, but I can get carried away too.

I wash mine once a year or so & wipe it down with Lemon Pledge when it needs it. Washing motorcycles too frequently is not good for them.

Nope, I do the same thing. It really isn't very difficult to keep one's bike "showroom clean." The secret is to not get behind on cleaning/maintenance. After I ride the weekend the bike goes up on the lift, the TV in the garage goes on, the beer comes out, and the cleaning begins. Typically I have the bike in pristine condition in maybe 25 enjoyable minutes.

A Vivid Black bike is easier to keep looking good when it's clean, thus, I clean (not detail) my bike as is practical after every ride...every ride...no not A.D.D. clean, just a simple wet wipe down, then a spray wax or detailer wipe, five to ten minutes tops. I try to do a full detail at least once a month cuz I don't have time for that lol...I'm too busy enjoying the rides!!!

Once a month, maybe. I'm not a detailer. It gets washed and dried with a towel. I don't really enjoy cleaning it so that is likely the reason. I put more time in cleaning a guitar, but I actually enjoy doing that.

the thing is i enjoy drinking some beer with the radio playing while i clean my bike, after almost every ride i do it the next day or so. i've always been this way with my trucks and cars too. my old man was like this to, i guess i got it from him. i know it's catching because my two sons are the same way. no finger prints please ! every truck, car and bike we have is black, it's a bitch, but they look good all the time.

Default When it rains?

Daily driver ultra limited gets a good deep cleaning about when it just looks dirty. Otherwise, when it rains while parked

I'll dust it off if I havn't rode in a while, But it is easier to maintain clean than have to do a total restore.
Whenever I'm working on it and already have the Bags,Seat,Side covers,Tank,Fairing off I'll clean underneath, And polish stuff as it gets put back on. I'm in no big hurry to do anything anymore.
