Clean the Slim before every ride. I'm blessed to have 3 bikes so the Harley is not used when it's raining. My CBR on the other hand is filthy!

 

Bike gets a wipe down once every couple days since I ride it daily and a good wash every weekend. It's nice to be back on a dyna and it takes longer to get my supplies out than it does to clean. So much easier than the road glide.

 

Wipe it down after every ride.

 

I like a clean bike, and I'm ornery and restless when it's dirty...but my problem is that when I go to clean it, I end up going for a ride instead!

 

I like my bike clean . It gets washed & dried at least once a week in good weather .
It gets wiped down with Ice spray wax at least once a week . I pull the bags off about
once a month to get the rear area clean . It gets hand waxed at least every summer before
our annual FL ride . If it's not clean I'm irritated .

 

If I cleaned the bike before or after every ride, I'd be wearing out the paint cleaning it daily. I'd rather be riding.

 

She does not get a bath every ride but a good wipe down is the norm. I guess it is my regimented nature, (or the echoes of my Drill Instructor in my head), that make me that way.

 

I wash mine throughout the season. but that usually involves spraying it down and drying with leaf blower to get bugs off. That's it.
Once a year I give it a thorough head to toe, but that is usually in the spring when it is warm enough to ride but the roads are still to crappy around here. So I get bike time by cleaning it.

 

I always pull the bags, seat and side panels when I clean my bike. Throw it up on the lift, and it gets a good cleaning. It takes about 4 hours on my SG, but it looks brand new when I am done.
