Spotless as I can get it. Won't leave for a ride unless it's clean. No point in having a bike as beautiful as a ultra limited if you are going to ride around all dirty. No problem if you are on tour somewhere, but I'm picky

I've had the RG for 1.5 yrs and its been bucket washed 3 times. It gets a detail spray wipe down with a micro fiber towel after a weekend of riding to knock the bugs and finger prints off from the GF. Use Pig Spit on powder coat every once in a while.

boy.... I feel bad.... mine gets cleaned maybe a dozen times a year... washed and waxed. I hit it pretty good. I get in a lot of rides, mostly shorter, <50-75 miles. Ridden daily to work and most errands. but it still looks pretty good. come spring, she'll get another good rub down and cleaning. Lots of wax and ready for another riding year. I like a clean bike, but a dirty bike shows signs of use. And I like use! To those who are clean-a-holics, I say good on you. To those who ride and ride, I say good on you too!

If I'm using it day to day then it gets a good clean when I can. If I'm on a road trip it will get cleaned when I get home. If it's not used for a while it's cleaned before it's put away.
My bikes are wash and waxed with good quality products and then protected with anti corrosion products. When it's dirty it doesn't take much to bring it back up mint and the fasteners look like new along with any bare metals. I find its preparation and protection not just the cleaning that keeps the bikes fresh. Here in Scotland the roads are often wet and dirty and they use lots of salt in winter. A cold water rinse is used after every winter ride to wash away the salt/neutralise any deposits. I love my bike and look after it the best I can.

I used compressed air to blow it out. Make sure you put the bike outside when you do this, or other stuff in your garage will end up with dust all over it. It's like the inside of a vacuum cleaner in there.
