You have a finite number of hours with your bike. You can spend those hours riding it, or you can spend them cleaning it.

I really dont get the whole "I'm a real biker I dont wash my bike" attitude. I grew up poor, I work hard for my money, I keep my things nice.

It takes me about 5 min to wipe the bike down before I ride, easy as can be.

When it gets dirty I wash and wax it....I dry it with a leaf blower.

I detail cars on the side so naturally I keep the bike clean. I don't understand why anyone would not want to. It only takes a few minutes. The key is to not get behind and let gunk build up anywhere. If you keep ahead of it it's easy peesy. A quick wipe down only takes a few minutes. I can have it showroom clean with a full detail in about 30 minutes.

I don't ride when it rains, unless I'm caught in a storm while I'm riding. So I don't wash it very often, just use a spray cleaner and wipe her down when cooled off after a ride. Only takes a few minutes.

I've got squashed bugs on my fairing that have been there since early March. Bike needs a good washing, but I'd rather ride it than wash it. Hopefully in the coming few days I can squeeze in some time for a wash. Amazing how hard it is to find free time lately.

I'm pretty OCD about cleaning the bikes. It's therapeutic, and it gives me a chance to give it a thorough look-over to make sure nothing is amiss.

I'm the guy that when the bikes get washed, the bags and side covers come off too. Every time.

I've worked on others' bikes that aren't as meticulous. It really shows in how dirty their bikes really are.

Gets wiped town with Bugslide after every ride, or 2. Mainly to get rid of all the bugs. Pretty sure Harleys are a magnet for bugs. Plus the back end sucks the dust right off the road.
