I have used them to dry mine for years. It helps in getting the water out of the hard to reach places. I usually dry mine as well as possible with the elec leaf blower then back it into garage and on the jack. At that point I go over it with spray on detailer and a microfiber cloth to get anything remaining and make eliminate any water spots

This is at the end of a 300 mile run down south and back to pick up something for my father in law. Always clean, can't help it. And I ride the !@$$ out of it too, just want it to look good while I'm doing it. I've got an extended rear fender painted and waiting at lucky 7 cycles (bagger shop in DFW) that will be put on as soon as I get in from work to match up with the rear. Probably going to put speaker lids in the bags next and contemplating getting a highway bar and having some speaker pods made for that. I spend a lot of time on it as it's my daily transportation when I'm not at work so I'd like tunes.

Ride it for one hour, polish for two. No not that fixated on cleaning but $25K is a lot of hard earned cash. I take care of my stuff, be bikes, truck, tools or lawn tractor.
I dont have to money to go buy one every yr, got to keep this one pristine as possible and still enjoy it, which I do.

I remove dead bugs almostly nightly, just like a clean windshield in the morning. Usually lay a damp towel over it, then wipe off the bugs and hit it with a dry towel. Otherwise I wash the bike before trips, good way to check fasteners, tires, etc. To me, the best looking bike is the one I am riding and the view over the handlebars
