Default 85 to 90mph for seven hours...

Just got back from a trip to Nashville. It's 7 hours or so with stops every 2. Road captain ran between 85 and 90 THE ENTIRE WAY.
Does anyone enjoy riding like this? It seemed stressful. I'm comfortable around 75 maybe.
Just curious...

Every now and then it's nice to go fast, but I just like cruisin and enjoying the view!

I'm never comfortable going over the speed limit that much...maybe 5mph. I pay taxes and I don't want to pay a ticket to help even more.

for me that is too long to maintain that type of speed. I don't have an issue with maintaining 5-10mph over the speed limit when on the interstate, but 7 hours of 85-90 seems like too much for too long.

I will get on it, by myself.

Maybe with one or two others that I trust completely.

No way that fast in a tight group, especially for that long.

But, everybody is responsible for their own ride. If your not comfortable, bail.

I don't enjoy riding like that. Taking my time, stopping when I want to, and checking out the scenery are my goals.

No, I'm not comfortable at that speed over the limit for that long. I would've ridden the speed I was comfortable with. What made you stick with the group?

I wouldn't enjoy riding that pace Steve, especially considering it could be a reckless driving ticket. 65-80mph is a comfortable cruising speed for me on my RK, and what little distance gained by traveling over 75 is almost made up by having to stop more often for gas because mpg really drops.
