RE: Fingerless gloves
I've got a pair from HD that has the back vent (top of hand) with the bar and shield. That make for interesting tan lines!

Man is that the truth, I am so tired of people asking me what I did to the top of my hand lol!

fingerless gloves are ok if you dont mind a suntan only on your fingers.. and if you have that open spot on the top of the glove(top of your hand) you will get a suntan/burn there as well.. looks wierd
hahaha

I wear gloves for the PROTECTION they afford if **** goes bad. Fingerless gloves just do not make alot of sense to me, although they are very popular with many folks. I have a pair of deerskin full finger gloves which are perforated for hot weather riding. Deerskin is much thinner than cowhide, and it's also tougher.

oh ... Booger Picker Gloves
I got a pair but they aggravate the pee water out me every time I went to take them off. It was like trying to remove a Chinese finger puzzle, the more you pulled, the more they resisted coming off.
For my light weight gloves I finally settled on a pair from Galls, a suplier of law enforcement uniforms etc.

The have a special liner that is supposed to be tougher than Kevlar, which I figured would come in handy if ever needed them for their intended purpose, to protect my hands. They are light weight and good tactile feel. I don't find them to be hot. If its not raining and the temp is above 50 degrees, these are what I wear. After a year and 15k miles, its hard to tell they have even been used.
