"Rare" FXR on Craigslist
#21
Ralph was still inside when the FXR came into it's own, he'd only been out 2 years when they quit making them and he didn't do a lot of riding on a hot dogger, that low profile thing.

He has it on Ebay too...not a very avid ebayer...he has it listed for free economy shipping via USPS...wanna see him mail it...lol.
Now if he had it listed for worldwide shipping...people overseas could see it...and he would probably get his price...and the bike would go to Japan...where all the cool old Harley's are at.

You can have your pick of early to mid 80's FXR's around here for $4K-$8K.
Hell, you can even get a Mickey Rourke replica for $7K:

Kayakguy asked:
"Anyone think he will get anywhere near his $13,500?"
Hard to say.
He may not get his asking price, but I'll reckon he gets within spittin' range of it.
That's a relatively rare FXR in amazingly good all-but original condition. You won't see many EVO FXR's with a chain final drive.
A couple of days ago (elsewhere in the forum) there was a thread speculating on which Harleys might be "collectible".
Well, this is one of them...
