I like black and chrome mixed, I even have my passing lights combined.
I do think some of the Dynas look good all black.
I have had both and I think chrome is just as easy as black to clean and it doesn't show chips like powder coating can.

I would think it's just a matter of personal taste. Chrome beautifully compliments black and vice-versa. I like a black bike with tastefully added chrome pieces, not over done but again, that's just a matter of taste.

I really like the mix of black and chrome. I wish the jugs were all black to make the pushrod tubes, heads and intake chrome, POP! If I ever take the motor apart (not sure if I ever will or not), I will definitely black out the jugs.

Harley don't offer black Chrome. It would look sweet tho. Mainly talking which style bike do you prefer from the factory or added Harley parts.

I actually think the Chrome oil tank takes away from the engine even more!

I actually like the chrome oil tank compared to blacking it out...but can definitely see where you're coming from.
