Default Any easy way to clean chrome?

My chrome doesn't wash clean anymore, looks sort of faded and spotty. I tried some S100 chrome cleaner and re-plater and it worked perfectly, chrome looks like showroom condition. But it's a LOT of elbow grease and I literally have to do the entire bike.

Wondering if there is another product maybe I don't know of which will have similar results with less effort?

Also what will protect the chrome from fading again?

Thanks a lot

No magic bullet, you want the shine you gotta put in the time and I've yet to find a better chrome product than good old school Turtle wax Chrome polish.

Ok thanks, I'll get to it.

Any way to prevent the hazing going forward?

Turtle wax chrome polish is great. Another one is polish angel palladium - online only, comes from Germany. The results are stunning

After using a chrome cleaner I then use a regular wax? Or is there a better protectant for chrome

Skip the wax just double the work for very little gain, try the turtle wax chrome cleaner to clean and shine them up nice then unless you get wet a good wipe down weekly should keep the shine if not a good detailer spray like this stuff works wonders.

Correct. If you want to wax, it's a good winter project, but it's not really gonna get you much more bang

Very funny that's the exact stuff I use for a polish. But I usually make sure to do a full wax at least once, if not twice a year. If nothing else it should protect the paint from sun damage, and maybe slow down the dirtying a bit lol.

That turtle wax chrome cleaner, is it not like a cleaner wax that strips the wax off then you gotta apply a true protectant wax? Or does it polish and protect at the same time?

Turtle wax chrome polish doesn't leave protection behind so to speak, but it gets the grime off and that is protection IMHO

I get the joke/point but I'd rather a wax protection then a dirt protection lmao.

I actually know a guy who recently turned in a car, they asked how the hell he kept the paint so amazing. His secret? He never washed it hahaha. A coating of dirt or dust or whatever, kept it from taking a beating from the sun and weather elements. 1 wash before trade in and it was showroom quality
