I collect them when I go to a dealer and I have friends that pick them up during their travels....
Boss just came back with chips from Hong Kong and Australia...
I keep a few at work and others I have at home in the garage.
Casinosupply.com makes this board for 30 for 29 bucks....they also have foam cut outs 16x20".
Agree 100%....much cheaper than t-shirts!

 

I collect them only if I am in that dealer. I have one section in my frame that is for chips that are from other countries. So far I have France, Luxemburg, Germany and Canada.

 

I collect them only if I am at the dealer. I send some to friends if they want them. Just started collecting last year though. Denali AK, Fairbanks AK, Colorado Springs CO, Twin Falls, ID, and Boise ID. Taking a trip this weekend to get a couple from Idaho Falls ID and Belgrade MT.

 

My rule is to also buy them while at the dealership. I was in London at the end of June and picked one up from Warr's HD over there.

 

I just started collecting them, I've got 8 so far...and a metric butt-load to go.

My rule is that I have ride to the dealership if I want to buy a chip. I thought it would make a nice memento of my travels. I'll either frame them or make a bar top out of them.

 

They're an inexpensive collectible for me, so I grab 'em when in a store - or if I do business with them on the ol' innerwebs - but that's just my own rules for me. Coolest one of the few that I have is from the museum when I was there last month. I bought two of them, in case I could help a brother out that wants one from there.

 

So I just got back from my midwest road trip and doubled my poker chip collection.

I went nuts and visited 28 different locations over 6 states.

South East Harley- Cleveland,OH. Has a full functioning diner inside with lots of history.

Illinois Harley- Chicago, IL. Great clearance clothing. Wife bought a New leather jacket for $150. All other dealers were charging $350+. Cool classic bikes along the walls.

A.D. Farrow- Columbus, OH. The oldest running HD dealer in the country. Ice Cream bar and old shop display.

DuBois Harley- Dubois, PA. Has a mini street running through the building.

 

Stopped at Four Rivers HD in KY on my way to Nashville over the weekend. They were out of poker chips and ladies shirts with their name on it... refreshing to find a dealer that evidently has no interest in making the fast easy dollars....
