There was a bad bike wreck near my office today, sad story..

The guy on the bike never had a chance. he was turning left into his workplace from the two lane highway and got rear ended and thrown into oncoming traffic and ran over again. There was plenty of room to the right the car could have just gone around him..

The folks that were in the oncoming car was a couple that work in my office that as on their way to work. They will have the image of that rider being thrown in front of them for a long time.

OUCH! Getting hit from behind and then run over by another car. I feel for his family. This is one of the reasons I put the Panacea tail lights on my bike. Every bit helps.

 

My condolences and prayersto all parties involved. Very sad.

 

This happens all to often. We need some of these companies that make lots of money from motorcycles to kick in for a public awareness campaign. I'm installing a hog light as soon as it is delivered. Rear end collisions are real scary. It can happen at any time. Keep an eye in the rear view. I pray for him and his family.

I put Panacea's on my Heritage with the hope they might make me more visible from behind, but with most of the cagers driving around talking ortexting on their phones, and all kinds of other multi tasking going on, you better be checking your mirrors.
