Led headlight bulb question

Led headlight bulb question
I put an LED headlight bulb in my bike and have a question. The bulb has 3 sides each with a LED on it. On low beam the 2 led's pointing up are lit and very bright. When you flip it to high beam the third led pointing down lights up but it does not make very much difference , seems like the high beam goes upwards but not out ahead where you would need it. It is a plug and play so it is not the wiring , unles the bulb itself is wiried wrong. Please help me out.

My LEDs do the same thing. 1 LED on top, 1 on the bottom. I think it,s a design flaw. The light from the top led hits the reflector and heads downward, towards the ground. Lowere led reflects up into the air. I can't lower the housing enough to get light forward on high beam without compromising the low beam.

Sad. but true, LED technology has a ways to go before they'll be a viable replacement option for a halogen lens/reflector system. The reflector in your headlamp is designed around an H-4/9003 style bulb. Look at one and see how the filaments are configured, including the shield for the low beam. Until an LED "bulb" can be developed with LEDs that mimic the shape and location of the filaments in a H-4 bulb, performance will be sub-par in a system designed for halogen bulbs.
At this time, the best option seems to be the dedicated lamp unit with multiple LED arrays, but they're expensive.
