My Motorcycle Wheel Table
#17
The wheel was damaged in an accident that I had awhile back, so no chance to resell it but the tire still does hold a 37 PSI.
I thought about mounting it on an axle, but figured thats all I need is to push off on the table one day while getting up... only to have it spin around and send me (or someone else) to the ground.
I thought it would be top heavy as well but the base is about the same size as the tire and it's recommended for table tops up to 36" square. To my surprise, it is stable.
I was going to cut my own piece of lexan for it, but Home Depot / Lowes wanted about $50 for a piece of plastic thats 24" inches square. I called some glass shops and got a bid for $80. I figured they would do a nicer job than I would if I were to cut my own plastic, and less prone to scratching.
