HOA's are garbage anyway. Just another example of our freedoms being taken from us and given tosomeone else to make decisions for us because they know better than we do.

RUBbie, custom-chopper jerks ruined it for the rest of us. Ever notice these clowns just HAVE to crack the throttle when under a viaduct? What do you think they did when inside a parking garage?

Come on. Be honest. You never crack the throttle under an overpass or viaduct or in a ramp just to hear the pipes every now and then??

Putting pipes on only to make a bike louder isn't something I waste my dough on. My "Great American Escape Machine" is just that. Intentionally being a nuisance to someone else ain't my bag.

My old company wouldn't let me park in the parking lot. They insisted that I park by the loading dock because it was concrete. Never felt comfortable there.

I just park on the sidewalk in Manhattan. The key is to park near other bikes or construction sites.

Most garages (that I've tried to get into)in NYC don't allow bikes - I haven't asked why, I just move along. I suspect it might be that the owners/attendants don't want to be responsible for the bike. Maybe they think it's too easy to steal stuff off of one, or someone might come along and screw it up and they'll be on the hook for repairs. Could be they see us as a 'bad element' and don't want us in their garage. Who knows, I just bypass them now.
