The thing I don't understand about this forum is the way people jump all over someone. The question was, does anyone know if they work or not. He wasn't asking for your opinion about phones etc, If your not gonna answer the asked question then don't waste our time reading your rambling. That being said, I understand that the Bluetooth devices are hit and miss and depend more on what kind of helmet you are wearing. Now go ahead guys flame on, if that is what it takes to make you feel like a tough biker

That one is going to be useless on a bike.
Take a look Blue Ant's Bluetooth set-up made for motorcycle helmets.

I just got a pair of these, not for cell phone use, but for rider-to-passenger and rider-to-rider communications.
The sound quality is outstanding and mic's noise canceling are second to none.

if you don't ride everyday, everywhere you cannot fathom why he would want a bluetooth. If you do ride everyday, everywhere and still don't understand, then maybe you're not bearing the work load of communication necessary to manage your own business.

I AGREE it's not a great idea, but there are special cases it's acceptable.

Wow, this thread really went sideways!!

Drtbrg......I do own a Jawbone and it is definitely the BEST bluetooth headset I have ever used. It is the first one where people don't know that I am using a headset. I can recommend it highly.

HOWEVER, I have never used a phone in any fashion while rinding a bike. I do take the phone and the Jawbone with me everywhere I go. I will use it in my SUV, reluctantly. But when on 2 wheels, I would rather wait til I get off the bike.

I know this isnt constructive but.....
I motherfsck every driver I see on the phone. If you need to be reachable all the time, park the firggen bike. A motorcycle requires all ofyour attention. Why not just checkfor messages or missed calls when you stop?

Don't judge me by what I ask. I didnt want any opinions from someone that cant walk and chew gum at the same time>>>> Think about it?
I'm not going to explain any further. anybody have an opinion regarding my questions?

Name calling was edited out. I calmed down and thought about it. sorry if I offended anyone, but my name is Dirtbag!

I thought I did.
As I said though, I have not used the Blue Ant with the cell phone, but helmet-to-helmet is great.
