Low Rider S with a 110 SE for 16,699

I would like to be able to purchase the Dyna S for under 16K. I don't think that's going to happen but it really depends on your geographical location and how much you're willing to shop around. When I lived in the midwest it seemed like I could get a much better price on a bike. Now that I'm in Colorado the larger dealers want to charge MSRP+ freight, setup dealer fees etc. I haven't been a serious buyer but here but I have been looking at street and road glides. My dealer here wants about 25K for those models. It seem that a reasonable price according to others on the forum would be 22K plus tax.

"I'm not sure why they call it the "Low Rider S"...with the raised suspension it's not a low rider by definition."
Back in the eighties, they added a new model called the FXRS-sp, also called the "Low Rider Sport". I had one and kept it 18 years.
It, too, had a higher suspension than the standard "Low Rider" (FXRS).
One of the best bikes HD ever put out the door!
Addendum:
Just went to HD's page and took a closer look.
ABS, cruise, higher suspension, 110 engine.
This is the first FX bike I've seen that could be the worthy successor to the old FXRS-sp model -- even if it ain't an FXR!

I'm riding a 2009 XL883 Sportster here on Maui, for Maui it's the perfect HD for me, enough speed to satisfy me and it will take me wherever I want to go. I'm thinking of shipping it to the Mainland this summer for an extended ride. I also may be looking for an H-D FXDL to have on the Mainland for Summer / Fall rides. We'll see how it all shakes out... I really like the Dyna Low and it's a perfect fit for me right out of the box.

Kinda like it "raises the bar" for the whole Dyna line, sets a new standard.
Not that bad a deal, all the bikes should come so-equipped.
In a time of uncertainty in HD's product line, that some might complain reveals a lack of direction, this bike's gonna be a hit.
