Taking off for Utah

RE: Taking off for Utah
Hey HTRAUD, sounds like a fun run. I can tell you from experiance that if you don't have your warm stuff you will need it!!!! Its still spring and these Rocky Mts. seem to grow their own storms. I live in the North Eastern part of Utah and I have finally resigned myself to the fact that I am going to take the Leathers. Jus my 2 cents.

Being from Southern Utah (Cedar City), I also checked and the weather should be good for your trip. But the mountains are famous for thunderstorms that come from nowhere. I have been in rain, sleet, hail, and snow in June and July. But if you dont think you have the room for your leathers that is a choice you have to make yourself.
You will enjoy the riding though. Zion, Moab, Cedar Breaks and Bryce are some pretty cool places to ride you wont be disapointed. I wish that I was going with you but it does not look like I will be riding this weekend.

I hate you and the dang weather. I went down a few weeks ago to make the same trip. Result:5 inches of snow and rain the rest of the time. Needles to say we never made it out of SLC.
But the weather last week did suck.
