Default SuperGlide

Think they'll ever bring it back, always liked them, thought the custom was the best bang for your buck.

It seems to be one of those models that disappears for a few years, then ends up back in the line up.

All the parts are still there, just not on one bike. I'm guessing the sales were "meh..." especially against the Street Bob.

I liked it like the Softail Standard because it was a blank slate. Unlike a CVO or a "custom" model the possibilities were endless without removing expensive parts that you may not like.

If it will sell, it will be made.

Great bike but the first thing everybody did was make it look like a Street Bob so Harley said ok then.

I think between the Street Bob on one side and the Low Rider on the other, the FXD Super Glide just got pushed out.

I owned a 2011 FXDC. Sold it for my Street Glide. To be truthful, I wish I had it back. Out of the 9 Harleys I've owned, from Sportsters to softails to Electraglides, I liked the FXDC the best of all of them. Best bang for the buck on top of that. I think it'll be back, bigger and better than ever. HD dropped the Low Rider after 2009, now it's back "new and improved", I think the Super Glide will be the same.

I own a 2005 Super Glide Custom.
Love it.

It has done everything I have ever asked it to do.

I would never buy another one.
But that is because I will never sell the one I have.
My oldest son has asked me for it when I pass away.

I have never owned a superglide and I am fairly new to Harleys, I looked at pictures and it seemed to me like a street bob with more chrome, what are the big differences with a superglide?

Since I dislike the bobbed fender of the Street Glide I would like to see the Super Glide return. I prefer a full fender. So much so that I would not own a bobber.
