Tman has your answer right here. I guess you have a Fat Bob, and its roots are the Superglide also.
I've always described any model of dyna as a "Superglide with a trim package." I got seriously taken to task for that on the forum here about 4 years ago. "Oh no, that's not true, they're all a lot different from the SG."
OK, right, whatever.
Oh yeah, by the way, SG means Superglide, not Streetglide. Since 1971, not 2006.

I have the same but a 2011FXDC. Love the bike and get a lot of compliments. I am thinking about an aftermarket front fender. About 6 inches longer than the HD. I want to get it done before spring but just can not decide if it is worth the aggravation!

Don't even make me laugh. You think I needed to own one to know about their problems???Issues with the '06 Dyna's are well documented on this forum and countless others.
Here's maybe some reading for you. Along with the known issue of the false neutral, they had bad inner primary bearings, shortened primary fluid intervals, and self destructing stators, just to name a few.

Now granted, compared to some of the Rushmore horror stories, they were a peach, but come on.....
