I am still running the exact same bike, same color. It is my only one, found it as an unmolested garage queen a few years ago. Did a few changes and plenty of miles - love it!
I have never owned a superglide and I am fairly new to Harleys, I looked at pictures and it seemed to me like a street bob with more chrome, what are the big differences with a superglide?
Tman has your answer right here. I guess you have a Fat Bob, and its roots are the Superglide also.

I've always described any model of dyna as a "Superglide with a trim package." I got seriously taken to task for that on the forum here about 4 years ago. "Oh no, that's not true, they're all a lot different from the SG."
OK, right, whatever.
Oh yeah, by the way, SG means Superglide, not Streetglide. Since 1971, not 2006.
I've yet to own a Super Glide, but I think they are some of the best looking bikes in the line-up. My first time on a Harley was my uncle's Glide back in the day. So besides loving how the bikes look, there's also a sentimental memory factor.

This is pretty much the way I see it as well although I have no love for the Low Rider dash. I just don't care for the twin dials, gives it an odd look. I have had pre-dyna Low Riders and liked them.
I'm a fan. Picked up this low-miles, pristine, unmolested '02 a couple years ago for a sweet deal.
The Super Glide is the perfect blank canvas, IMO. Always felt that the FXD, along with the FLHT Electra Glide Standard, were the absolute, biggest bang-for-the-buck models in HD's lineup.
Very cool how just a couple of subtle bolt-ons completely change the bike's character, no matter the style yer after.
