Default 28,000 miles on front tire?

I have a 05 Deluxe.I keep pretty good records on repairs and maintenance on my bike, but according to my records my front tire is over 3 years old with over 28,000 miles on it.And it till looks pretty good.Does this sound normal or maybe I forgot to write this down.I get around 10,000 miles on my rear tire.I have Dunlaps tires on it.

Sounds good to me for a front tire. I had 15k twice on both tires on my Blackline...but not even close on my Breakout.

Generally speaking, most get two rear tires to one front (averaging 20-30k on a front). Of course riding style and tire brand play a part.

Which Dunlop? I recently switched to dunlop American elite, heard they go high milage. Just wondering if I can expect that type of milage.

I got 3,000 out of a front tire on my Sportster. Luckily didn't have to replace the tire since I got rid of the bike.

I've got 23,000 on my stock front tire, just short of 2 years. Still got a bunch of tread left. Got about 17,000 or so out of my rear tire

I normally get about 10k on my rear and more or less 20k on the front with Dunlop Elite 111 tires.

I got 20k on my front tires on the Softails (stock Dunlop). Tread was at maybe 2.5/32 so another 5k was possible -- but I don't like pushing the envelope when it comes to tires. I could see 28k on a stock Dunlop front tire. Ron

I only get 7k out of my rear tires. I replaced my front at 28k, it still looked pretty good.

Use a depth gauge and check for cupping and cracks. My wife got 20K on her fronts on Heritages before. Cheap insurance for replacing it. If you are riding local wait or if you are taking a trip replace.
