Default Million Dollar Harley

Not counting the controversial Captain America bike, when will we see the first million dollar Harley at auction? What will it be? I predict it will be something celebrity owned, ie Elvis,McQueen, Brando.... From what I have found, so far, the record for a Harley is $771,000.00 . If I am wrong, please correct me. At the rate I am seeing prices increase at auction, I think 2016 will be the year. What say you?

There are plenty of Million Dollar Harley's out there, I'll bet some of the folks here have spent a mill on these things.

Oh! you meant valued at a mill.

Never mind.

Clark Gable owned a knucklehead which is supposedly now in the Harley museum. Not for sale but I bet they have it insured for $1M

In 1959 HD gave Elvis and Jerry Lee Lewis a FLH. This year Jerry Lees sold at auction for $325K.

Roger Reiman's 3 time Dayton 200 winner) 58 FLH which he personally restored was denied entry into the show for judging bikes at Daytona Bike Week in the 80's because it was "too perfect". His two other entries took best in show in their category.

It is on Display at Reiman's HD In Kewanee, Il. It is an extraordinary machine. I offered my collection as a straight across trade for it. My bikes book price was likely more than the 58's book price but the owner just looked at me and smiled.
