PAger receiver ll

RE: PAger receiver ll
I have one with my 07 Roadglide. I replaced it twice and then gave up and threw it in the drawer. Part of the problem is the stupid directions but I also found it to be pretty much useless beyond 20 feet. I just bought Lojack for motorcycles. With the lojack system they will call my cell phone within 30 minutes of my bike moving without me. Between Lojack and Glock I hope to keep this bike. Last one was stolen.

the directions need updating, because 07s dont hve a button to arm the secutiry system. it arms automatically, and disarms when the iigintion is turned on when the fob is present. my pager works perfectly except i haven't tested the range yet.
despite the missing fob button to arm the bike, the pager still funtions. just arm the bike by turning the ignition off, and follow the rest of the instructions for the pager.

Mine works ok, but only for about 30 minutes, then it quits receiving the signal. I can re-arm the security and the pager works for another 30 minutes.

Mine works for1 hour just like the instruction book says on page 8. After 1 hour it will resend the range signal if the bike is tampered with and you are within range and signal the pager. I have tested mine to a little over a 1/3 of a mile and it works fine.

don't re-arm, but try to move the bike to test after the hour and see that it still works. In my case it always does.
Range is fine, but YMMV, no pun intended.
My only complaint is you have to replace the battery like every month or so, it just doesn't hold up well.
