I solda roadstar that I owned outright, so I put that cash with some other cash and presto...a 2000 Heritage appeared in my driveway

There were two things that Ialways thought were notgonna be in my vocabulary, Harley and loan in the same sentence. I had to borrow a little to get the Sporty and paid it off in a couple months. Had to borrow considerably more for the Road King figuring on the sale of Motorhome, Hotrod, or Sportster would make that a short loan too. I' didn't plan on the late winter and over $ 3.00 a gal to put a wrench in things. It may be a while before the RK becomes "Bagger Extrodinare"

 

Bought it last September and paid it off today. Stock went up $5/share last week and I cashed in a few options to pay off the bike and the car.

It's nice to own it!

 

Missed --> I put a huge chunk of money down now paying for the rest. Will likely pay it off in a couple of years though it's financed longer.

 

Cash for my bikes. Free and clear titles throughout.

 

I pay cash for all my toys. I had to sell my 94 FXRS and 02 XL to do it, but it was well worth it.

I never pay cash.
I use my home equity line of credit and get the tax deduction on the interest.

 

add me to the common theme here. Own one outright and when that one was paid off, wife bought me a new one, that we'll be paying for quite a while.

I do make larger payments than required so i hope to have it paid off sooner rather than later.
