Bought mine on credit (threw 5K cash down) cause I like to keep a loan on the books all the time - helps keep my credit score at the platinum level that I've developed. should have it paid off in a couple years and then'll it'll be time to get the wife a new car.

Borrowed the funds for the first bike, paid cash for all the modificatonsand still paid if off after 24 months.

Now the Classic, which I have had for 13 months, will be paid off by the summer. I don't mind borrowing money for a short time, I like to have some cash in the bank.

 

Here is my deal......I bought my 03' CVO Deuce with cash......and my 08' Street Glide I road away with not a red cent exchanged.....nothing down. That was mid October, and I still owe just over $9K. It will be mine outright by the time the outside temp is above 60*F again!
