For those of you with LED light kits, I see many vendors at the bike rallies, what's the cost to let these guys do it for you vs. doing it yourself?
What makes one set better than others?

 

I think they look good on crotch rockets but out of place on a Harley...but that's me.

 

Yeah, especially the ones that change colors like a rainbow.

 

Did my street glide single color white, no remote, wired into the accessory circuit with a deutsch connector for under $100. Plus my time obviously.

Eventually I will do the new RGU. I have enough left over from my SG project to do it. But I'll be building a delayed shutdown controller so they stay on a while after I shut the bike down.

 

Rally I was at a couple years ago was charging damn near 300 for an install... Buddy and I put a set of them on my bike for less than 60. Wired to a switch. Nice clean install. None of that rainbow stuff, just one plane color, Blue...

 

They only do pink ones at rallies.

 

I think they look sweet on Vicla style bikes.

 

Gay as a bag of dicks.........

 

cost? dunno. not interested...
