I find that JPs prices are too high. I use the book for reference though.

 

Sorry to hear about your bad experience, but I've ordered a lot of things from J&P over the years, and have never had a problem.

 

I'm another who's placed several orders with no problems. Not the best prices but, free shipping on orders over $299 + 10% off made it a good deal.

 

Did a couple big orders when I first gt my bike, good stuff but HORRIBLE customer service.

Same here. I've bought from them for years and found them to be helpful and very accomodating when I had to make a return.

Something else to throw into the mix--I have bought items from them that were in "new" condition but have obviously been returned. I'm not sure if that's a bad thing, but that might account for the marks on the cable. Maybe somebody at J & P's return department didn't catch that before they put it back on the shelf.

 

I like J&P pretty well. Their web ordering software never seems to work right. They probably need a good IT audit by an outside expert. Anyway, they seem to have good phone service--just stay off the internet site.

never had a problem...they goofed once, and thenthey sent the right stuff immediately w/o waiting for the wrong item back...came in 2 days and no extra chgs for nothing....

 

ive had good success but prefer to talk to a real person when ordering .
prices are little higher but somebody has to pay for that thick

I agree with mayerhd though, I have been using Jireh Cycles lately. Better prices and free shipping on orders over $70.00.
