Something wasn't feeling right with my new 16 Fatboy S, there was a sort of occasional shimmy from the front, more noticeable at slow speeds and low revs especially when I took my left hand off the bars. I took it to HD in Daytona last week when I was up there, but they were too full to look at it.

Got it to the dealer today and it turns out my front tire was no good. The bike has 4000 miles on it but it started 1500 miles ago/10 days ago (yes I've been riding a lot). Anyway new tire and it's good to go. Tech said it's not uncommon lately for stock Dunlops to have issues.

I had the same thing with two sets of Dunlops.

I put Ride-on in with the second one and the wobble went away.
Sometimes when I slow down I can feel it just wanting to wobble but it stays true.

I'm guessing that the balance issue is just faint enough that the Ride-on compensates for it.

I had a brand new '09 Road King police was that would do a tank slapper if I let go of the handlebars at 35mph. Dealer fix was to tell me not to let go of the handlebars. The front tire was badly cupped at 3500 miles. A new tire helped but did not eliminate the problem.
