I wear plastic safety glasses... I buy the "ZTEK" brand at the local welding supply for about $2 a pop for clear, $3 for sunglasses.... The local Harley dealer has the SAME EXCAT glasses without the "ZTEK" written on the side for $9.94 each. I buy a whole box of 12 at a time.
Same here, I use Willson wrap around safety glasses, in clear and smoked.

In the future flush eye from the nose to the outside with water for 10 to 15 min put an ice pack to reduce swelling. Cover both eyes and rest for awhile the reason for this is your eyes work together so when one eye moves the other will follow. Wear a pair of sunglasses post rest so your eye does not squint and water. Try some eye drops if pain in eye. If you still have problems go see DR.

Riding without eye protection is crazy. You get something like a bug, pebble, etc..in aneye at a decent speed and you could lose your eye. No thanks.

But I did have a bug blow up my left nostril last week! That was a first. Had to put the cruise on so I could blow him out.

I did have sunglasses on when I got whacked in the outside corner of my eye by a bugwhile riding up in Yellowstone. My eye swelled up for two days, then it was fine...

I wear these and ride behind a windshield on the road.

It's all good now. I was a little worried though. I just had to go a couple miles and figured I would risk it. Never again will I ever ride without at least a pair of safety glasses on.

Lessoned Learned for sure.

The most important piece of safety apparel. Chalk it up to experience. We hope that this experience also makes you consider boots that cover your shins and gloves(even fingerless)that cover your palms.
