prescription glasses while riding
been wearing contacts forever. and then the company stopped making the kind I was wearing. since then I have tried two different brands and I keep getting infected ulcerations on my eye from the contacts. I have never wore glasses while riding, always contacts.
just wondering if anyone has had any issues with prescription glasses while riding.

I use my regular transition glasses at times. Prescription RayBan sunglasses, and some prescription WileyX transition sunglasses. Really depends on the weather and the ride being done at the time which I wear.
Transition lenses are best for me. Mainly at sundown when riding I don't have to then stop and switch to clears before dark. But transitions don't get as dark as the prescription sunglasses do. So it's a trade off at times I guess. Use the sunglasses during day. Then towards evening I will switch before we take off to transition lens glasses.

But yeah, modular helmet, and a tinted drop down visor, along with my everyday bifocals fit every riding situation.
I tried a half helmet with old school goggles, but it was just ridiculous. After taking a hornet to the face, it's been full face/modular ever since. There are very few full face helmets that work with glasses. It seems for my unusually shaped melon, those that do accommodate glasses don't fit correctly

Piece of cake. Two things that really help:
1. Get a pair of glasses just for riding, with thin metal sidepieces that will easily slip inside your helmet.
2. If you wear a FF helmet, modulars are much easier to put on over glasses than a regular FF.
Really, though, any glasses with any helmet is not a problem at all.
