Thanks TX- Wait for the skills waiver in the mail, go to DMV and trade it for an updated license.
They gave us a 2-part form on the final day. I gave one to the DMV, took my written and eye test and they gave me my license. No waiting, except for the normal line at the DMV.

Congrats on the license. I had never ridden a motorcycle before and signed up to take the MSF class. I rode quads all my life, so I had the clutch down. The class was a great experience and I learned a lot of good info. On the final test, I only missed 4 points (good for me at least) and got my certificate to take to the DMV to get MC license. The funny thing about the class was a know-it-all forty-something guy that had answers for every question.....man he got annoying quick. He thought he was suck a great rider, but he ended up being the one who missed the most points on his skills test....go figure.
