A few years back in Europe we rode summer and winter, temps down as 15F were no problem. As long as there was no salt on the roads or snow. Leather jacket leather pants, high boots, gloves, face protection and goggles. Isolation underneath: isolated thermal overall for dry suit diving...On our Heritage Classic 2003..Cold? Yes ! Fun? Yes and astonished faces or cagers around you.

One of the two things I like about living in NC is that I can ride year round. It gets cold here at times but never stays cold too long. I'll ride when it's as low as 45 degrees on a short ride, but typically it it's under 50 I won't bother because I know in a few days it'll be 10 degrees warmer.
