Third problem with Kuryakyn parts.
First it was the mirrors that were either missing parts or not chromed properly, thena couple of thepads on my brake pedal came off after two rides, now my throttle side ISO grip came unglued from the sleeve after about 200 miles! I could expect the clutch side, seeing as I installed it.
I was just cruising along, went to twist the throttle and nothing, likethe cable fell off. Pulled over and checked it out, I had to push inward on the grip and squeeze real hard to make it home.
The HD dealer has the glue, but said not to use it on the throttle side, if it gets inside either end the throttle will stick, yet i'm not about to wait a week to remove mine, send it back and wait for another in return.
Quality is crap these days, seems like everything I buy breaks right away. Vent over.

Wow, I'm suprised at that, Kuryakyn still manufactures their own parts here in the US..right? - I couldn't imagine a company like them farming crap out to the Chinese..

I have installed several kuryakn parts on my sporty including the iso-grips.I didn't even glue mine on when I installed them ,in case I didn't like them(I do)They still aren't glued on but I have never had a problem with them.Perhaps you got the one item out of a thousand that may have a defect.Did you try to tell your problem to a kuryakn rep?Usually they are very understanding to deal with.I'd hate for someone to miss out on some very nice dress-up parts over something that might be resolved easily.I'm nobody's company rep(I'm a carpenter)I just hate for anybody to do something out of anger(beenthere, done that)without exploring all options.

I have nothing against them, the foot pegs & shifter peg are still ok.
